What is this site about?

I list all european comics translated in English. Each review text is mostly copied from Wikipedia or from the editor sheet. Visitors rate the comics and write reviews in the comments.

I also keep a blog about drawing. You can follow my learning steps. My comic culture is mainly manga and european comics.

What are all these ratings?

The top 5 stars rating is a rating generated from visitor votes. Every visitor can vote once for a comic. The two other star ratings come from the most popular French comics site, BDGest. The first rating indicates what was the highest rating for all issues of this comic. The second rating is the lowest rating for all issues. If you look at the number of issues released in French (at the bottom of the review), you can have a good idea of the overall quality.

Where to buy new european comics?

Amazon got a massive selection of comics, and so european comics.
Cinebook is an european comic publisher. I encourage you to buy here instead of Amazon. You will be contributing to a larger selection of european comics in the future.

Where to buy second-hand comics?

Many comics like Blacksad are not published anymore. Your only hope will be the second-hand market. The easiest place to find them is on Amazon. Try your luck on the US, Canadian and UK sites. I noticed they all have different selection of “used” european comics.
